We are Hiring:

As a software development firm, we work with engineering teams building web, desktop, and mobile applications for companies across many different industries, including but not limited to manufacturing, medical device, e-commerce, business services, financial services, and software. We seek a UX/UI Team leader expert with deep experience working across multiple disciplines, revamping legacy applications, and turning ideas and visions into reality.

Responsibilities

• Help to build out the growing UX/UI team by evaluating top candidates to support growing demand;
• Collaborate with team members to find the appropriate balance of business value, technical complexity, user adoption, or influence.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in design amp; design research, and evangelize current trends and patterns.
• Analyze, document, and present tools, methods, and best practices to team members;
• Review team and project UI/UX team deliverables;
• Attend product scope meetings, provide estimates, review scopes for estimate accuracy and design adherence;
• Ability to Identify new components, patterns, and templates to be incorporated for improved user experience
• Review the designs, improving the work. Foster a team culture of diversity and transparent collaboration
• Creation of a design system and assisting in establishing a central repository and managing content to support UI/UX standards
• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping, and user-testing experiences for digital products.
• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for various devices and interfaces. Ability to effectively communicate interaction and interface design data, design proposals, and product specifications and to explain the rationale behind design decisions clearly and in a way that inspires stakeholders.
• Develop and introduce highly effective and user-focused data visualizations
• Design and prototype interactive visualizations that help tell a compelling story from complex and disparate data sources.
• Understand data and the decision-making process using the data to be able to tell the story effectively
• Ability to concisely critique designs for improvement and to translate customer feedback into strong design decisions
• Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core and new functions and features.
• Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.
• Collaborate with client-side team members and stakeholders.
• Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas.
• Work in concert with our architects and development teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of UI/UX design experience.
• A minimum of 2 years as UI/UX Team Leader.
• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
• Demonstrated track record of success designing software in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Expertise in standard designing and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD or Figma or Sketch is a must
• Strength in responsive design, cross-platform development, and mobile designing
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JQuery.
• A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility concerns.
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently, including creating multiple design options with a focus on balancing feature richness with the complexity of implementation and budget impact.
• Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
• Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.
• Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
• Proactive
• Experience in UI design and components is a must.
• Excellent communication skills, including managing expectations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to achieve results under pressure in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
• Proficient in English (verbal and written)
