Envision Employment Solutions is currently on the look for Business Analysts for one of our partners, a well-known international bank in Egypt.
Job Summary: The Business Analyst’s role provides a critical link between the various Business/Operational units (products, channels, systems) within DVP and IT. The incumbent works with other PMO functions, including; Change Management, Project Management, and Program Reporting. The incumbent is actively engaged in solving complicated business challenges, and assists the business/operational areas to facilitate business process change management (BR, EPO, CMG, OPMB), quickly understands business issues and data challenges, and makes recommendations for improvements. This role also entails leading requirement gathering, analysis, leading business testing scope/planning efforts, and coordinating business/operational resources with IT for testing execution, release scheduling, and defect resolution.General Responsibilities:
  • Assist Business/Operations with the Change Governance Process, ensuring appropriate cost/benefit and risk/reward analysis is taken into consideration
  • Manage Business/Operations resources in accordance with project schedule
  • Analyze, verify and prioritize Business Requirements to ensure validity, completeness and conformance to overall business plan. Identify work around solutions as appropriate
  • Manage compliance with the guidelines illustrated in the Business Requirements Form
  • Coordinate with the following stakeholders for processing of Business Requirements:
- Change Management Committee - Business Unit(s) - IT Quality Assurance - Budget Analyst
  • Support BR recommendations report for management review
  • Supervise user acceptance testing strategies, plan, scenarios, and detailed test scripts within scope of responsibility. Organize Business /Operations resources for test scheduling
  • Ensure User Acceptance Test (UAT) activities for Business Units within DVP have been performed, defects are remediated, and risks/issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Monitor system functionality readiness from user and customer perspective
  • Ensure system failure and error(s) throughout UAT process are monitored, documented and reported
  • Monitor compliance with UAT deadlines, UAT schedule, related processes, policies, procedures, standard, business requirements and/or related forms, etc.
  • Support rollout plans and daily production issues as appropriate
  • Analyze amp; provide recommendations for the periodic reports generation
Analysis Solution definition
  • Understand existing business processes, issues, and data challenges of the organization and industry
  • Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution 2
  • Develop functional specifications and system design specifications for each engagement
Technical recommendation testing
  • Lead testing efforts
  • Ensure issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner
  • Work with the company's DVP personnel to identify required changes
  • Communicate required changes to DVP PMO and development team
Project Execution:
  • Assist DVP PMO in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules
  • Take input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately apply comments/feedback
  • Communicate and apply project standards
  • Manage resources in accordance with project schedule
  • Consistently deliver high-quality services
