UI/UX Designer

We are looking for a passionate UI/UX Designer to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our users. As a UI/UX Designer at Minly your responsibilities will include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs and help us grow our user-base.

• Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences
• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other functions to identify user and business needs
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Design features that ship quickly and with high quality
• Optimize existing user interface designs
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Prepare and present rough drafts and presentation decks to internal teams, key stakeholders, and partners
• Identify, optimize, and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Adhere to style standards and brand identity on fonts, colors and images
• Video animation experience is a plus

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in product design
• Strong online portfolio that includes both web and mobile designs
• Experience building products for Android, iOS, and web
• Advanced knowledge of design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Invision, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Attention to detail and the ability to instantly spot issues with information architecture, hierarchy and flows
• Must be organized, analytical, and dynamic
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate and self-manage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
• Humble, curious, and open-minded with a growth mindset who thrives on continuous feedback and learning
