As a part of our Operations team, you will play an active role in setting up the department SOP’s and actively involved with marketing and tech departments to contribute to the growth of the product.

Scope of Work:

The Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing all business and financial operations related to Ureed’s functionality. The OD is required to be effective at planning, delegating, coordinating, staffing, organizing and decision making to ensure the growth and success of Ureed as a leading online platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set tools, objectives and goals for each department. Clearly communicate with department heads; delegate responsibility to department heads. Measure the success of each department: Generate and present reports on departmental goals. Motivate and encourage employees
  • Set district and regional goals. Communicate values, strategies and objectives
  • Attend and preside meetings, participate in board meetings
  • Plan, monitor and appraise job results
  • Develop incentives and develop climates for offering information and opinions
  • Develop strategic plans by studying technological and financial opportunities, presenting assumptions and recommending objectives
  • Accomplish subsidiary objectives by establishing plans, budgets and results measurements; allocate resources, review progress and make mid-course corrections
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending seminars and workshops, analysing market studies, establishing personal networks and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices
  • Ensure high user satisfaction (Quality Services); solicit feedback
  • Help build and promote company’s mission and values through collaboration with online and offline entities to enforce ethical business practices
  • Coordinate efforts by participating in developing policies and procedures for departments
  • Manage and direct overall operations
  • BA degree in Business Management, Administration or any related field. Working experience of 5-6 years is preferable.
  • Able to work well both with a team and independently under minimal supervision.
  • Able to function under high stress and at irregular hours.
  • Proficient in English and Arabic languages, able to write and speak both languages at a professional level.
  • Ability to communicate well with clients (Emails, meetings, via phone, Zoom, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to determine priorities, follow up and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Detail oriented and able to multitask.
  • Experience in team management and departments management.
  • Digital Marketing experience and background is a plus.
  • Financial Management and Planning background; experience in working with and creating budgets.
  • Background in technology and ability to communicate with web developers is preferred.
  • Experience in Online Businesses and Platforms is preferred.
