Main Duties & Responsibilities :
Inspect returned articles for damages or missing hardware or parts & pieces and determine destination for products: Back To Stock, As-Is, spare parts, trash, etc.
Use the daily assembly recording sheets to register articles assembled, articles repacked and keep accurate record of the return articles.
Contribute to the recovery and quality work in the store to prevent unnecessary costs to assets and give products a second chance while keeping bottom line profit and sustainability in mind.
Work towards continuous optimization of working methods, processes and tools.
Work proactively across functions and support potential improvements regarding the quality associated with IKEA products.
Utilize available knowledge and systems to maintain proper inventory and provide better product information to co-workers and customers
Ensure an organized, safe environment in the recovery area, AS-IS room and holding area
