The QA Engineer will fully participate in the development process, from design to delivery amp; deployment. It is important to have a deep understanding of the business domain and features under development to run tests that provide meaningful feedback. You may also work on several stories or features at one time.
What will you be doing?
- Working closely with the product and development team to define the best approach for shaping tests.
- Help to define the scope of new functionalities (Functional Requirements / User Stories)
- Support the team in building a cohesive and quality solution by conducting thorough manual testing (functional testing, regression testing, integration testing).
- Creation of test design based on functional requirements.
- Reporting and monitoring the defect life cycle, using defect management tool: JIRA
- Test software on PC, Mac, and Mobile devices (Android and iOS)
- Functional Tests Execution (System and End To End Testing)
- Generate and analyze test reports and coordinate of testing efforts with other teams.
- Estimation, prioritization, planning of testing activities.
- System configuration and preparation of test data sets.
- Troubleshooting of issues reported by users.
- Documentation of the processes.
Requirements
- Education: B.S engineering or computer science or any related fields
- +3 years of Manual/Functional QA experience
- Detailed understanding of test methods such as UI, regression, integration, load, usability, compatibility, etc
- Experience testing in multi-platform devices
- Outstanding attention to detail and an enthusiastic approach
- Intermediate/Upper-Intermediate level of English communication skills (oral and written)
- Knowledge of agile development practices (XP, Kanban, Scrum)
- Think Creatively
- Logical reasoning or programming background
- Organizational skills with the capability of working towards a tight deadline
- Strong desire to learn new industries and technologies
- Passion for eliminating redundancies using automation and taking part in our on-call rota
- Strong knowledge around Docker, Kubernetes, Mesosphere will put you on edge
- Good to have AWS Solution Architect Professional certification
