Job Purpose:
Take on data annotation and validation tasks to help train machine learning algorithms. Also, support the analytics team by labeling images, annotating data, and providing feedback to improve processing tools and new features.
Job Responsibilities:
- Annotate and label text, image and video data via computer using various internal software programs.
- Provide constructive feedback to our engineers on tooling and processes for more efficient labeling, and to improve data quality.
- Locate, label, tag, and categorize various elements in large text datasets.
- Maintain ownership of each annotation assignment and respond to any changes in procedure and auditors.
- Report and document issues with tools and annotation documents to the development team when necessary
- Interact with data science and data engineering teams to improve data quality and the processes for data management and curation.
- Data scrubber, web searching and suitable data collection.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Arabic literature.
- 0-3 years of experience.
- Communicate clearly using excellent written and verbal skills.
- Must be reliable, proactive, committed and quality focused.
- Familiarity with linguistic concepts like parts of speech and grammatical relations.
- Knowledge of languages in addition to English.
- Ability to understand and apply guidelines for data labeling.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while paying close attention to detail.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good at English language.
- Excellent at Arabic language, specially grammar.
- MS Office amp; internet web searching.
