The role

We are seeking a highly-skilled Frontend Engineer with exceptional experience in working with modern web technologies. As the Lead Frontend Engineer, you'll be part of Ureed.com technology team and you will be responsible for building the foundation of a scalable freelancing platform. You will show us how you design, test and iterate over simple code that's easy to reason through. The key objective is making your code simple and easy to refactor.

Key Responsibilities

You will be working very closely with the products team and fellow engineers to architect, design and develop web-based tools. Your design and code will help our customers connect with freelancers from all over the world and help our freelancers' community do a better job of leading a remote lifestyle.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• Design real-world solutions to practical challenges, by designing and coding great interfaces
• Drive and participate in clear, consistent code review practices, using your experience to help grow a great engineering team
• Have fun and work with a scrappy, optimistic, energetic startup team
• Use state-of-the-art technology and programming tools
• Collaborate on the roll-out of internal workflows and procedures, prioritizing automation
• Have a relentless focus on our users, demonstrated by placing their needs ahead of design solutions and technology
• The confidence and verbal/writing skills that allow you to communicate your ideas and vision, inspire the teams, and defend design decisions

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related subject is preferred
• Deep understanding of test-driven development, continuous integration, and delivery
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and software engineering best practices
• Experience writing code in Javascript
• Technical experience using modern front-end frameworks like ReactJS or similar frameworks
• Experience with REST, API-driven development, and web app frameworks like Flas
