As a Carrier Relations Specialist, you are the liaison for our partnered carriers and the main point of contact for any issues. You will be responsible for contract negotiations with partners and managing carrier onboarding. As part of the Carrier Relations team, you will work cross-functionally, managing relationships with all carriers and business partners.
Duties amp; Responsibilities:
- Manage carrier relationships with telecom carriers, suppliers, and service partners and is the main point of contact for carrier issues.
- Actively negotiate to improve pricing and contracts with assigned carriers and partners.
- Manage new operator onboarding tasks such as onboarding MNOs through partners or adding a new direct carrier connection.
- Identify and attend relevant industry events and conferences.
- Prioritizes, plans, and organizes tasks and work responsibilities to achieve objectives and departmental goals.
- Support product development efforts by researching for the best carrier solutions to meet sales and product development needs.
- Identify gaps and take corrective actions with carriers to effectively reduce our interconnection cost.
- Manage direct reports that handle carrier pricing and work closely with internal departments to support company initiatives/objectives.
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of industry and carrier guidelines is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Experienced in internal and external partner management.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and easily adaptable to change and work under tight deadlines.
