Data Science Architect

The Data Science Architect would help design and build models to navigate and search the data, text, audio, video or images (Content), indexing transcripts from audio and video files as well as indexing text content extracted from scanned documents.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Key Accountabilities

• Design a data flow architecture, including data pipelines
• Identify the objectsin digitized Content provided by the Customer
• Data exploration, integration and cleaning collected data

• Deploy Microsoft SQL EC2 database that will act as the storage area for metadata extracted fromdigitized Content
• Deploy Amazon Comprehend and SageMaker
• Setting a workflow for indexing digitized Content
• Feature engineering for building ML models
• Building cloud-based architecture for data ingestion and processing
• Creating an application program interface (API) endpoint for retrieving results to the CustomerIn-Scope Application

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Extensive industry experience in using business and technical skills to design solutions based on the project requirements
• Extensive experience delivering multiple ML projects with quantifiable business outcomes
• Solid experience in giving data presentations
• Track record of diving into data to discover hidden patterns
• Combination of deep technical skills and business savvy enough to interface with all levels and disciplines within our customer’s organization

Expert knowledge in:

• SparkML
• Using ML libraries, such as scikit-learn, caret, mlr, mllib
• Using data visualization tools
• Programming languages such as Python and/or R
• Imperative programming languages such as Java or C/C++
• AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, EC2, Data Pipeline, amp; EMR
• Handling terabyte size datasets
• Writing and tuning SQL
