Demand Planners play an essential role in the supply chain of a company. They use the analytical, marketing, and sales data of a company to effectively estimate future product demands.
Job Specification
What’s On Your Plate?
Planning inventory flow
Analysing statistical data and generating forecasting solutions
Make sure no items run out of stock and we always have enough supply for demand for our convenience store concepts
Improving availability and maintaining 95% for all items across all stores
Weekly Demand Planning and forecasting
Suggest de-listing of slow-moving items
Calculate service level of suppliers
Follow up with stores regarding ordering of Non-Replenishable items and recommend areas of improvement
Transferring items between stores to reduce burden of over-stocking and ordering
