What you’ll be doing
The Specialized Contracting Company Cranes is an Egyptian joint-stock company based in Cairo and a recognized provider of crane rental, heavy lifting, crane sales, and crane maintenance services. We are seeking an Accountant to support accurate financial operations across a professional construction and equipment-services environment.
The successful candidate will maintain reliable accounting records, assist with reporting, and help ensure timely control of transactions related to projects, equipment, customers, suppliers, and operational expenses.

- Record and review daily financial transactions, invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Reconcile bank, customer, supplier, and ledger balances and investigate discrepancies.
- Support accounts payable and receivable activities, including invoice verification and payment tracking.
- Prepare periodic financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for management review.
- Assist with budgeting, expense monitoring, cash-flow updates, and project cost tracking.
- Maintain organized accounting files and support audits, tax documentation, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with operations, procurement, maintenance, and commercial teams to validate financial data.
What we’re looking for
- Working knowledge of bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Ability to prepare journal entries, reconciliations, expense schedules, and routine financial reports.
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and organized spreadsheet reporting.
- Accuracy in reviewing invoices, receipts, purchase documents, payment records, and supporting files.
- Understanding of accounting controls, documentation standards, and confidentiality of financial information.
- Ability to track project-related costs, supplier balances, customer collections, and operational expenses.
- Strong analytical, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communication and effective coordination with finance and non-finance departments.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems and willingness to learn company procedures.
