What you’ll be doing
The Specialized Contracting Company Cranes is an Egyptian joint-stock company based in Cairo and recognized for crane rental, heavy lifting, crane sales, and maintenance services. We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the reliability, safety, and efficient operation of electrical systems used across crane and heavy-lifting activities.
The successful candidate will work with maintenance and operations teams in a professional construction environment, helping ensure equipment availability and compliance with technical and safety requirements.

- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems, control panels, motors, sensors, and related crane equipment.
- Diagnose electrical faults and coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
- Review electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
- Support commissioning, repair, modification, and performance testing of crane electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance work, faults, spare parts, and equipment history.
- Coordinate with mechanical, operations, and safety teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Promote compliance with applicable electrical, lifting-equipment, and workplace safety procedures.
What we’re looking for
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, drives, control circuits, sensors, and power distribution.
- Practical troubleshooting ability using electrical test instruments and systematic fault-finding methods.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, control diagrams, wiring layouts, and technical manuals.
- Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance for cranes, hoists, lifting equipment, or industrial machinery.
- Familiarity with PLC-based control systems, variable-frequency drives, relays, ors, and safety interlocks.
- Sound awareness of electrical safety, lockout and tagout, grounding, testing, and maintenance documentation.
- Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in construction and heavy-lifting environments while following site procedures.
