We are seeking a Mechanical Technician to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production and utility equipment. The successful candidate will work with maintenance and production teams to reduce downtime, maintain equipment performance, and follow site safety and quality requirements.

- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment used in oilseed processing, conveying, pressing, refining, pumping, and packaging operations.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, gearboxes, motors, conveyors, valves, bearings, hydraulic systems, and related machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical faults, identify root causes, and complete repairs within planned maintenance schedules.
- Assist with equipment installation, alignment, lubrication, overhauling, and commissioning activities.
- Record maintenance work, spare-parts usage, equipment conditions, and follow-up actions accurately.
- Coordinate with operators and other technicians during breakdown response and planned maintenance.
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on experience maintaining industrial machinery, preferably in food processing, oilseed extraction, refining, manufacturing, or a similar plant environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, valves, pneumatic or hydraulic systems, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to use mechanical hand tools, measuring instruments, alignment tools, and basic maintenance equipment safely.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance, lubrication practices, equipment alignment, welding or fabrication support, and breakdown repair.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance instructions.
- Accurate maintenance reporting and effective communication with production and engineering teams.
- Commitment to safety procedures, hygiene requirements, quality standards, and orderly work practices.
