What you’ll be doing
Pyramids Freight Services (PFS) is a leading freight forwarder based in Sheraton, Cairo, Egypt. We are seeking a results-driven Freight Sales professional to grow our customer base, develop long-term accounts, and increase revenue from ocean and multimodal freight services.
Key responsibilities:
Location: Sheraton, Cairo (on-site). Morning shift. Role involves regular interaction with internal operations and external partners and requires some travel.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with shippers, exporters, and importers in Egypt.
- Manage a sales pipeline, prepare commercial proposals, and close contracts for shipments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, agents, and carriers.
- Coordinate with operations and customer service for timely booking, documentation, and delivery.
- Monitor market trends, carrier schedules, and rate fluctuations; recommend commercial strategies.
- Follow up on credit terms and ensure timely billing in coordination with finance.
- Attend meetings and events to represent PFS and expand the company’s network.

What we’re looking for
Must-have:
- Proven B2B sales experience in freight forwarding (4+ years) with track record of meeting sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of sea freight, import/export documentation, and INCOTERMS.
- Commercial negotiation skills, rate structuring, and ability to prepare competitive quotations.
- Coordination with operations and finance to ensure accurate booking and invoicing.
- Analytical ability to monitor market rates and carrier schedules and propose profitable strategies.
- Excellent English communication; Arabic preferred.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and regulatory compliance.
