Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for our platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Optimize our backend infrastructure for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Research and implement new technologies and frameworks to improve our overall architecture
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a software engineer, specializing in backend development
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Kotlin
- Experience with database design and optimization (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Keen interest in keeping up with the latest industry trends and technologies
