Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Warehouse Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, design, and implementation, with a proven track record of building scalable and efficient data warehouse solutions. As a Data Warehouse Expert, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing our data warehouse infrastructure to support the organization's analytical and reporting needs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data warehouse design specifications.
- Design, develop, and implement data warehouse solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and data integration workflows.
- Optimize data warehouse performance and scalability to ensure efficient data processing and retrieval.
- Implement data governance and security policies to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, ETL workflows, and data lineage diagrams.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources and ensure data quality and consistency.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data warehousing and analytics.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience with minimum 7 years as a Data Warehouse Architect, Engineer, or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling tools and techniques (e.g., ERwin, ER/Studio, Dimensional Modeling).
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with ETL tools and processes (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS).
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferable to have experience in Banking sector.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Certified Data Management Professional).
