Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative BI (Business Intelligence) Designer to join our team. As a BI Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing intuitive and insightful dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify key metrics, and create compelling data visualizations that drive actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for reporting and analysis.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Transform complex data sets into easy-to-understand visualizations that communicate trends, patterns, and insights.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by validating data sources, implementing data cleansing techniques, and establishing data governance best practices.
- Optimize data models and queries to improve report performance and usability.
- Conduct user training and provide ongoing support to ensure effective use of BI tools and reports.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in BI and data visualization.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics or similar fields.
- Proven experience with minimum 5 years as a BI Designer, with expertise in designing and developing BI solutions.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and techniques.
- Certification in BI tools.
