What you’ll be doing
As a Backend Engineer, you will be working on different types of products from websites to enterprise platforms. As part of a cross-functional team focused on delivery, you will be responsible for building the engine that powers the entire product. Here are some examples of how your day will go:
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications according to specifications.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and understand project scope.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Perform thorough testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolutions.
- Continuously research and evaluate new technologies to enhance software functionality and performance.
- Document software designs, code, and technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively in an Agile environment, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional growth.
Requirements
What we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience using .NET
- Experienced with Agile methodology
- Strong knowledge about the concepts and paradigms.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET framework.
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, and other related frameworks.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
