Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated AWS Cloud Engineer - Junior to join our team. In this role, you will utilize a holistic approach to design, develop, evaluate, and modify end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products throughout their entire life cycle. You will be responsible for generating quantifiable requirements based on customer descriptions, system planning and design, and acquisition logistics. As a Junior AWS Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that requirements comply with client specifications and government standards through formal verification methods.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Translate high-level product development strategies into system requirement specifications.
- Work with other engineering disciplines to develop lower-level detailed implementation requirements.
- Establish and coordinate the development of standards, practices, and procedures related to overall product development.
- Design interfaces and bring system elements together to ensure seamless functionality.
- Assess system performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
- Act as a customer liaison and provide support for business development activities.
- Understand and shape requirements based on customer interactions.
- Participate in system conceptual design and contribute to the documentation of design concepts.
- Collaborate with multi-discipline engineering teams to develop lower-level detailed requirements.
- Participate in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system.
- Trace requirements through compliance verification and validation processes.
- Generate system-level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures.
- Review test plans/procedures to ensure they meet contractual requirements and actively participate in the testing process to validate requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience or Master's with 0-2 years of experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of AWS cloud services and architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to cloud-based development and deployment.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
- Previous experience in system design and integration.
- Knowledge of formal verification methods and standards.
