Requirements

As a Senior Systems Administrator, your key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.
• Monitoring and managing system resources, such as CPU usage, disk usage, and response times, to maintain operating efficiency.
• Performing systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
• Setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system-wide software, and allocating mass storage space.
• Interacting with users, evaluating vendor products, and making recommendations for hardware and software purchases.
• Coordinating installation and providing backup recovery.
• Developing and monitoring policies and standards for resource allocation in computing.
• May be assigned responsibility for mentoring less experienced staff.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a similar field is preferred.
• 5 - 7 years of experience in system administration Field
• Good command of both written and spoken English is a must.

Preferred Experience:

• Certifications in systems administration.
• Familiarity with network engineering.
