Description:

We are actively seeking a skilled NOC Engineer to join our team. As a NOC Engineer, you will be working on a shift basis and under general supervision. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practices. Your work will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of critical network elements and applications within our Network Operations Center (NOC).

As a NOC Engineer, your key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring critical network elements and applications using various network monitoring systems.
• Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining telecommunications networks in a NOC environment.
• Testing new and existing hardware and software installations.
• Utilizing computerized network management systems to identify and address system alarms.
• Following procedures to validate, troubleshoot, and escalate issues.
• May Work second and third shifts, and overtime as needed, especially during network outages.

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a similar field is preferred.
• 1 - 3 years worth of experience in IT Networking.
• Working in shifts
• Excellent proficiency in both written and verbal English is essential.

Preferred Experience:

• Advanced knowledge of network monitoring systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing telecommunications networks.
• Familiarity with computerized network management systems is required.
