We are seeking a visionary Head of Design to lead and unify our design efforts across multiple product squads. This role is crucial in ensuring design consistency, elevating user experience, and maintaining our brand identity.
- Provide leadership and direction for the design team. Develop and implement design strategies that align with company goals.
- Ensure all design outputs are cohesive, user-centered, and adhere to brand guidelines. Lead design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster collaboration among the cross-functional teams in different squads. Ensure design aligns with product and engineering requirements.
- Mentor and support designers within each squad, aiding in their professional growth and skill development.
- Champion a user-centric approach to product design, ensuring user needs and feedback are integral to the design process.
- Oversee the evolution of the brand’s visual identity and ensure its consistent application across all customer touchpoints.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in fintech design. Implement innovative design solutions to enhance user experience and engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- Proven experience in design leadership, preferably in fintech or a related industry
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in UI/UX design and brand development
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proficiency in design tools and software
- Experience in mentoring and developing design talent
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
