We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst

A bit about us

AlGooru is a Saudi-based edtech startup that uses AI to connect students with on-demand private tutors over 20+ subjects.

Main responsibilities

1. Building and maintaining dashboards
2. Monitoring dashboards’ performances, quality control plans, experiments and constantly identifying improvement opportunities

A day in your life

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Visualize and analyze internal funnels and pipelines
• Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
• Build dashboards with data visualization tools like Data Studio, Metabase, etc

Requirements

Experience needed

• 4+ years of proven experience as a Data/Business Analyst
• 4+ years of experience building dashboards on BI tools
• 4+ years of experience building and analyzing reports
• You’re adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
• You have the ability to turn data into a narrative/story; storytelling skills
• You have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• You’re a technical expert in data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
• You have extensive knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc)
• 2+ years of experience in managing a team
