Job Description

Role Description

The Quality Team Leader plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and continuous improvement within the organization. They are responsible for leading a team of quality professionals and overseeing the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems and processes.

  • Provide strong leadership to the quality team, setting clear expectations, and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Delegate tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance and feedback to team members for their professional growth.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective quality management systems to comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to quality policies, procedures, and guidelines across the organization.
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments to identify areas for improvement and monitor compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gain within the quality management systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Track and analyze quality metrics to monitor performance and identify trends or issues that require corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver training programs related to quality management, quality control, and process improvement.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in quality management practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as operations, partnership, and product development teams, to ensure the implementation of quality standards throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and external auditors to address quality-related concerns and facilitate effective communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 4-6 years of experience in quality.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management system and methodologies.
  • Certified COPC and six sigma is a must
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
