Sarmad, a leading software company, is seeking a Product Designer Head to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage product design efforts across the organization. This is a highly collaborative role, where you will be working closely with cross-functional teams to create products that delight customers and drive business growth. As a Product Designer Head, you will be responsible for developing design strategies, overseeing design projects, and mentoring and coaching a team of designers. Responsibilities
- Develop design strategies that align with business objectives
- Oversee design projects from conception to launch
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create compelling user experiences
- Manage and mentor a team of designers, providing feedback and facilitating growth
- Create and maintain design guidelines and standards
- Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions
- Take an iterative, user-centered approach to design, incorporating feedback and testing into the design process
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in product design, graphic design or a related field
- Financial experience is MUST
- 8+ years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing your work
- 2+ years of experience managing a design team
- Expertise in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Strong knowledge of user research methods and their application in the design process
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting designs and concepts to stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
