Responsibilities
- Lead the risk domain for the product management team, taking ownership of driving the strategy, development, and implementation of risk management practices and frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and operations to ensure that risk considerations are incorporated into product development processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to risk management in the Fintech /Consumer Finance space, and ensure that the product and team are compliant with these standards
- Communicate product vision and strategy to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in throughout the organization
- Foster a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and user experience to ensure products meet high standards of usability, accessibility, and value
- Use data-driven insights to develop and optimize key metrics to measure and improve product performance
- Drive successful go-to-market strategies that result in market growth, work closely with relevant teams to ensure adoption and success
- Lead by example and actively promote a safe, collaborative, diverse, and agile company culture, inspiring others to embrace our values
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software product management with a proven track record of delivering successful digital products
- In-depth knowledge of risk management principles and methodologies specific to the Fintech /Consumer Finance industry, including credit risk, market risk, operational risk, and compliance risk
- Expertise in developing and implementing risk management strategies and frameworks, leveraging industry best practices and regulatory requirements, to ensure the security and stability of financial products and services
- Strong understanding of key risk indicators and metrics used to assess and monitor risks within the Fintech/Consumer Finance space, with the ability to assess and evaluate the potential risks associated with product development
- Expertise in managing both green field and brown field products, as well as deploying and launching products in regulated environments
- Hands-on experience with agile product development methodologies, with ability to analyze data to make informed decisions
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a high level of creativity and an ability to think outside the box
- A high level of empathy, with skillful communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders
- High energy and results-driven, thriving in a fast-paced, diverse environment while working both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
